Ethel Davies creates stereographic, three-dimension still images, based on specially taken photographs. She says: “I often carry them a bit further, to create pictures that look more like paintings – but come to life when viewed with red-cyan glasses.”
What’s your favourite medium to work with?
Photographs taken with my Nikon, my Huawei phone and transformed in PhotoShop.
What does a typical day in the studio look like for you?
My studio is for production, in which I print images already designed. I then take the hard copy and shape it in whatever form I need, whether as a book, a display or a poster
What’s your biggest creative achievement?
I’m proud of my publishing company, Doublevisionpublishing, and the books I’ve produced (5 so far).
What should we look out for?
The books of course are on sale, and I’m hoping to have more launch events.
