Didi Baldwin is an artist working in a variety of media including printmaking, painting, drawing, collage and photography. Her work is characterised by a sensibility that is borne out of a reaction to place and the moment, using qualities of abstraction to convey an underlying concept.
What’s your favourite medium to work with?
Relief Printmaking and Painting.
What does a typical day in the studio look like for you?
I arrive late morning and stay till early evening, to focus on writing, drawing and cutting a block for printing and preparing painting mediums ready for the next painting session.
What’s your biggest creative achievement?
Some of the overseas projects I have been involved in which has included a series of shows I did in Japan and a number of residencies in Iceland.

I have been shortlisted for first round of Royal Academy Summer Show 2022.
